Brandon: i know Sergey for long time, and i have deals with him in past that ware notnig but good. Sad truth is that people are unstable, bad things and hardships come and some folks aren't build for it.  I guess it was too much temptation form for old Sergey. hi did simillar things in past but he allways made it right. this time i think he is off the deep end and we wont see him back. at lest as Sergey :) 
its sucks as i know several folks with 10k+ of goods in Sergeys deadlock. i guess i am lucky. it sucks!

There’s no doubt about it, the Konvas is a good camera especially when teamed up with Lomo or Zeiss.  Film is definitely, not dead and there are still factories churning it out in addition to Kodak although my favourite ( Fuji) have ceased production although there are plenty of rolls still in stock. I have noticed that the price of film is starting to climb making it impractical for those on a tight budget, also film labs are now getting sparse. Mind you, editing software is so good these days that it’s hard to tell the difference between digital and film. Film of course is better for archiving.

@Rita I still shoot a film a yer in 35mm. i have continuity in working on film and people call me because of it. Konvas is far from perfect but same as Bolex simplicity of it makes useful tool. as long as we have film we will have Konvas running . just my 2cents
