It's been a long time since I was posting on the Konvas group. Last time was over a year ago on Smart Groups when at the time I had acquired a Rodina. Now I'm back and this time with several new acquisitions. Besides a CP-16R I also got a 16mm Mitchell camera for my animation work.
This was a 16mm Mitchell that had been modified to be used for time lapse photography. As you can see from the images the turret was removed and c-mount adapter installed to take a single c-mount lens. Also a Tobin TTL timelapse/animation motor installed on a standard Mitchell motor mount. This means standard motors for the 16mm Mitchell can still be used. Other features of the Mitchell such as rack-over, variable shutter, critical focus and framing viewfinder, double claw film registration and movement are still present. I will be mostly using this camera to film stop motion animation as long as I can still get double perf 16mm film.
