Les Bosher made a PL Mount adapter for it. Shoot some 35mm with an Arri III. Touched the French hand of God when I shot 16mm with an Aaton XTR Prod. Purchased two (2) Photo-Sonics Actionmaster 500 fps pin registered cams. Converted one to PL Mount. Both run on much smaller powerful LiPO batteries (28.8 - 30V). Purchased a French legend regarding the tiny whisper quiet reflex Eclair ACL II. Restoring my unique UltraPan8 projector. Discovered a Japanese cinematographer/engineer who had six (6!) custom FF VistaVision cameras made in the nineties. Tiny things with standard Arri 400ft mags. Logmar built 5-6x new 25 lb handheld 5-perf 65mm cameras sold to rental houses. One was used on Christopher Nolan's recent Tenet IMAX film. Logmar is also developing new pin registerd Super 8 and 16mm cameras with video HD viewfinders. My friend trashed his new stereo IMAX projector. Another Japanese filmmaker/engineer 3D printed a handheld 35mm camera absent pulldown (direct drive motors cpu controlled) and rego prints and has been testing 136 rolls of 35mm Ilford HP5. <div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Prices for 16mm cams such as Bolex, Eclair ACL(s), Aaton and Arri have gone through the roof and are in very limited supply globally. Even the Leitz Leicina Special Super 8 camera w/ M Mount has gone crazy price wise. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Someone has built a small scale dye transfer machine in his backyard and is working on improving transport and process. I suspect that "micro-engineering" projects will scale dramatically as metal based 3D printing drops in price.
