I also completed a short Super 8 film called, "Gitpu", i.e. https://vimeo.com/252260456 password = bolex

Merry Christmas, everyone!

On Tue, Dec 17, 2019 at 12:15 PM michael higgins via Cinema <cinema@konvas.org> wrote:

Very well indeed!

I had an incredible experience shooting for the first time on a Konvas 1m, 12months ago, entirely shot on expired Fuji and Kodak stock of all speeds, it was a pleasure. 4 lenses, all OCT18 - 18mm, 35mm, 75mm and 135mm. Two labs in Toronto handled the 100minutes of material - Niagara and Frame Discreet, both were a pleasure to deal with and the 5K scans were sublime. I look forward to shooting 35mm. I know we’ve been busy lately, but wanted to see who is filming what these days? Commercials? Promo pieces? Any films in planning? Anyone using Soviet glass on any cool new projects? Anyone shooting actual film? Anyone using a Konvas or Kinor for any upcoming projects?

I’m still pretty busy with the brewery and tasting room, so, other than cell phone photography for social media, 2019 has been mostly a wash for filming. Hoping in 2020, to start shooting a series of interviews where we discuss beer, brewing, and business, but we’ll see. I need time to put it all together,

Anyway, just wanted to say “Hi" to everyone! Hope y’all are doing well!

Cheers,
