<div dir="ltr">OSTCAM is interesting camera however it has one major problem and no its not electronic. Acording to Olex but also to several people i talked to including Anatoly for SlowMotion. Apparently registration pin pin is big source of trouble and it courses flicker. He sell the zoom lens separately ! I notice no supports on the lens ?<br>
The zoom 25 to 250 i all the time considered a good zoom but heavy for the<br>
Konvas.( because it's long and unbalance the camera weight the 40 to 140<br>
are the best for this camera),<br>

This one was build in 1993 ? it's at the end of the Konvas making.<br>
Mine used a control box for the TL time laps<br>
with the update with the tobbins motor i presumed this one do not have an<br>
extra control box.<br>
On the side of the tachometer it's where you control variable speed 2 to 50<br>
frames<br>
and the sync speed 24/25/30<br>
If you looking for a stabilized pin and a PL mount.<br>

Yeah I picked up an OPF7A really cheap a while back and Olex has it with a few others he is servicing. It's time to go PL with everything, all the cool kids are doing it so I guess I better too.<br>

It's nice to have onboard monitoring of sync. I bought a handheld Tobin sync meter about 10 years ago when I had the Konvas 1M and tested it. It wandered a lot; looking back now it was likely the result of old grease in the mechanism because the motor was the crystal one.<br>
<br>
This Ostcam looks really light. It it holds sync it's probably great for steadicam work! You'd need to tap the VF though.<br>
