Not all CD's have a clear and shiny surface so you will have go through a number before you find the right one. Make sure you pick out the thinnest as these are easier to cut and cause minimal vibration.</div><div>But they do work, probably better than the glass one. I did actually make a glass one from a disused mirror and was ground to shape by a local optician who also drilled the centre for me but the cost was greater than the cost of a replacement but this one had balance problems.</div><div>CD's work a treat. <div>Hello gang, i have one 2M in relatively good shape, as a spare camera, however mirror shutter is total crap. i need to replace it if i want to use this camera. it looks like i will need and extra body so am about to deal with this. any words of wisdom for me? anyone has one to spare? also is mirror shutter dame as lets one in 1M? <br>
