<div>I'm late to the party here, but did give the samples some tweaking, in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.<br>

I tried both adjusting levels, and making just brightness/contrast adjustments. To my slight surprise, I had better results just making simple ProcAmp adjustments (cranking contrast waaaay up and lowing brightness by about a third) than I did with adjusting levels. Levels made the image a little muddy for my taste.<br>

Samples are attached (I hope I made them small enough to go through), and I pasted a bit of the Premiere effects window on top so you can see what I did (the ProAmp settings were changed within the Matrox Color Correction filter, but the regular Adobe color correction filter in Premiere should yield the same results.<br>

I know this is not what you had in mind when shooting, but you can't deny that it still is a pretty cool effect. The funny thing is, if we TRIED to get this effect we might not have results this good... ha.<br>
