At one time I had a 40mm LOMO for 70mm silent film coverage. Imax bought it and were going to see about making some, no idea if they ever did or not. I bought it from a guy who had it on the front of a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 and was using it with the focal plane shutter as a really, really wide lens.

Years ago I had a zoom which was for 65/70mm. I traded it with someone
who had one of the 65mm cameras. I can't remember its details right now.
However I have a copy of "that" soviet/russian cine book somewhere which
will have some info on early such lenses. I'll come back with more when
I find it...
