I know this question has been asked in the past in this group, but couldn't find a clear answer, so... here it is again :) I'm considering converting one of my OCT19 set to PL, and maybe get them rehoused as well, to something that I can use, and rent out with a better compatibility with modern accessories. Who are the technicians, or companies who do this ? Any recommendations ? I'm also looking into getting a kinemount -> OCT19 adapter made if anyone knows someone who does these things :) Cheers ! Spherical primes in Kinor housing are easiest to remount to PL but for them there are some good and some bad options.... i am in Montreal so if you want to have a talk call me 514-452-1740. I had my 28mm lomo superspeed converted in China by nan at GL optics. I also had my 35&50mm lomo superspeed converted by Viktor in russia. GL optics has done rehousing lomo's in the past of lomo supersedes, but is busy rehousing leica r lens, as there are many more of those lens around. I don't think he will do a rehouse set unless there is demand to do it. I heard of a lens tech in romania which i am trying to track down. Viktor seems to have disappeared. So yah its tricky to get lomo lens done, as the build quality is not so good, and spare parts are almost impossible to find. I'd heard that they were manufactured by Chinon but I've never had a bit of trouble with it and the images the Angenieux delivers are warm and organic. I really like it. I scan a lot of my own Super 8 footage, but even though the image sequences are uncompressed, they're still at 1080p. Who did the transfer and was it reasonably priced? They did a good job. Interesting choice for a soundtrack, by the way. It really works for the piece. > Thanks for watching Stanley. I used my Beaulieu 6008 Pro w/ Schneider > 6-70mm zoom.
