I saw the film in 3D ( the Martian )
and you know in 3 D they project 2x time the same image this increase the
data on the screen
and you have less the plastic look.
This why they push on 3D projection.

Young people like the plastic look screen, i dont ! MAD MAX the new one got
a very strong plastic look too !

You have the plastic digital look on many film where the capture was done
on film at the start.
Today the film look are only an illusion ... and the magic it's lost when
we lost the black moment bet wing the image frame
when they project the film at 24 frame secound.
NOW WE GET ONLY BIG TV this why i go lest to the movie theater we lost the
magic in digital projection not only the film look.

TIME CHANGE and not necessary for better ! they never made so much money
with camera , the high quality camera are less accessible
to the low budget, digital camera lost too fast any value. It's hard to
sell a old Alexia over 6k red are hard to sell used at 10K !
