Colcam, have you seen an advance copy? It doesn't get released until the end of December, so how is that you have generated such a negative opinion of the film?  I get that you're angry he's shooting  65mm super panavision because you don't like "the math" or something... and you think it's bullshit that they altered existing cameras to accept the vintage lenses (makes sense to me, I can't imagine who in their right mind would do it the opposite way?), but HOW do you know you don't like the film if you haven't seen it?  Isn't it possible that you might like the film whether it's shot on an iPhone or super panavision?
It's QT's movie, let him make it however he wants.  Why not save the anger and judgement and condemnation until after you screen it? Just in case you decide it's your  second favorite movie of all time and you love how it looks to boot :)
