I went to my niece's wedding recently and was shocked as to the money she paid out not just for the wedding etc but for the videoing. Her video was not great and she had to pay £4,000 for an afternoon and evening shooting. The wedding was a grand affair which took place in an old mansion so photo opportunities were many but had to do a lot of leg work to cover the grounds. It was only a two camera set up so they had to be everywhere at once. The husband and wife "crew" were running as fast as they could run so camera set ups were poorly positioned IMO and due to a lack of time had to be handheld so the images were shaky and looked rushed!  They should have had four camera's to cover the ten acre site so many opportunities were missed.

I have realised that to do weddings you have to be extremely fit as the guests are hard to control especially when they are inebriated and unpredictable. Also applying champagne to the camera crew was a mistake on my niece's part especially half way through the day. I take my hat off to anyone who can do a good wedding video as its really hard work.
